Description

There are some cars that are so special, their values exceed expectations. They say that if you want to truly collect cars, buy the best of whatever you are looking for, and you will do well on it over the long term. There are many competitors out there, but it is hard to argue that this is one of the most special E92 M3s ever produced and ranks high on the list of most special BMW M cars of all time. The E92 started off as a very special car- a naturally aspirated 4.4-Liter V8 that had gobs of revs and plenty of power across the tachometer. After building their name off of selling cars with detuned racing motors with no turbos and individual throttle bodies, the E90 M3 was the last of the line for this sort of thinking and the engine was a particularly excellent send-off. The E90 M3 quickly won over enthusiasts and reviewers alike and won a fair share of magazine tests in the process.

Many companies have special divisions that allow some customers to select special features ranging from interior trim to unique exterior paint finishes. BMW's division is known as Individual and has been helping clients customize their vehicles since 1992 and the e90 generation M3 has some of the most unique specifications.

This E92 M3 is without a doubt, one of the most unique to ever come out of the BMW factory and thanks to its set of options and ultra low miles, will remain exceptionally collectible. Painted in the Porsche shade of Speed Yellow, this E92 is one of very few that was painted in a color outside of the BMW color palette. Although the Individual division would allow some customers to select colors from BMW's history, it was rare they would allow vehicles outside of their range making this Porsche yellow car one of just 3 worldwide and the only known in the US. Additionally, this car was optioned with a fantastic shifting 6-speed manual transmission which ups the driving involvement and is far less common than the DCT that the Individual cars are frequently seen with. One of the most rare parts of this vehicle is the fact that it is a “one hump” car, meaning that when new, it was not optioned with the notoriously finicky i-Drive system and the only bumpout on the dashboard is for the gauge pod in front of the driver. All of these individual factors make this car one of a kind but when you combine it with the fact this car has just 6,500 miles on it, it makes for an indisputably difficult package to beat.
