Towards the end of BMW's E90 M3 production, they wanted to make a few special edition cars to keep people excited about the car while they were preparing the next generation. One of the most sought-after of these limited run cars was the Frozen Silver edition- a specially developed matte finish from BMW. The Frozen Silver cars were ultra limited edition and only 40 units were produced for the North American market. Along with the special paint, all of the Frozen Silver cars featured Shadowline blacked-out chrome trim, black kidney grilles, and a beautiful set of 19” M Performance wheels in black. On the inside, the cars were equipped with extended black Novillo leather, a combination of carbon fiber and brushed aluminum trim and special aluminum kickplates with chequered flag graphics.

This 2012 BMW M3 was delivered new to Steve Thomas BMW in Camarillo, CA on November 22, 2011 and was under the care of a single owner until August of 2020. With an MRSP of $82,360, this E92 is exceptionally well-equipped. In addition to the $9,535 Frozen Silver package, this M3 features the desirable Competition Package which, thanks to Dynamic Damper Control, makes the car feel more lively and gives faster turn in and flatter handling characteristics. Additionally, the vehicle was optioned with the Premium Package and Cold Weather package- both of which add numerous comfort and convenience features that make this performance car completely comfortable for daily driving as well. According to BMW, these Frozen Silver cars were only available with the 7-speed DCT gearbox which is a perfect do-everything transmission and fits the character of this car perfectly. To improve this M3 even further, a previous owner fitted both a carbon fiber front splitter and BMW Performance carbon fiber rear spoiler along with a costly set of Ohlins Road & Track coilovers which give the car a perfect stance and even greater handling performance. In October of 2020, the notorious rod bearings were replaced preventatively and a comprehensive service was completed in February of 2022. Showing just over 39,000 miles, this car is in fantastic condition and is one of BMW's rarest M3s!
